Studio369 Raises $5 Million for MetalCore Development

In a recent press release, it was announced that Studio369, a video game developer, has successfully raised $5 million in funding for the development of its upcoming web3 MMO, MetalCore. This funding round, which took place on March 12, saw contributions from notable investors such as Delphi Digital, BITKRAFT Ventures, and Sanctor Capital, among others.

MetalCore is set to offer players an immersive gaming experience with its dynamic mission system driven by AI. The newly raised funds will be used to further develop features such as the dynamic mission system, which leverages AI to generate unique assignments, objectives, and tasks for players. Additionally, the game will incorporate a user-generated content feature backed by blockchain technology, allowing players to enhance and create in-game items, conduct transactions, and engage in various activities.

MetalCore is designed to provide an expansive open-world setting where players can engage in large-scale battles for territorial control. Players will have the opportunity to craft and trade vehicles and equipment, recruit pilots, develop land, and participate in various interactive tasks in their quest for planetary supremacy. The game aims to create an engaging and fun experience for players, with a focus on delivering top-notch gameplay.

Studio369 CEO Matt Candler expressed excitement over the support from prominent companies and influencers in the gaming industry for MetalCore. The additional funding will allow the development team to further refine and enhance the game, ensuring that it delivers an exceptional gaming experience for players. MetalCore is being developed by industry veterans with extensive experience in major titles, including Gears of War and Mortal Kombat.

MetalCore has already received recognition in the gaming industry, winning the GAM3 2022 Award for Best Shooter Game. In addition to the recent $5 million funding round, the project previously secured $15 million in funding in 2021. This ongoing support and recognition from both investors and industry experts bode well for the future success of MetalCore and Studio369 as they continue to develop and expand the game’s ecosystem to attract more players.
